Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing Hilo Design Center! We're delighted to offer local delivery services to our valued customers.

Local Delivery Only

At Hilo Design Center, we currently only offer local delivery on the beautiful island of Hawaii. We believe in providing personalized and efficient service to our local community. Unfortunately, we do not offer shipping services outside of this area at this time.

Delivery Timeframe:

We strive to process and deliver your orders as quickly as possible. Typically, orders are delivered within 3-7 business days. Please note that delivery times may vary depending on factors such as order volume and weather conditions.

Delivery Charges (delivery fees are subject to change at any time with out notice):

For the east side of the island:
- Standard Delivery: $200.00
- Deluxe Delivery: $300.00

For the west side of the island:
- Standard Delivery: $375.00
- Deluxe Delivery: $475.00

Standard Delivery: Appliances purchased with Standard Delivery will be delivered free of all packaging materials inside and out, unless requested otherwise by the customer. The delivery team will drop off the appliance only.

Customer Responsibilities:

Ensure that the old appliance is emptied and pick-up ready outside of the home prior to the scheduled delivery.
Failure to have the old appliance ready for pick-up may result in additional fees.

Installation Services: For select appliances, installation services are available at an additional cost:

Dishwasher Installation: $200.00 per unit.
Over-the-Range Microwave Installation: $200.00 per unit.
Range Hood Installation: $200.00 per unit.
Wall Ovens: $200.00 per unit.

Please note: Release of liability waivers must be signed at the time of installation.

Gas Conversion for Ranges and Gas Dryers: For customers requiring a gas conversion from natural gas to propane, the cost is $150.00 per unit.

Please note: Release of liability waivers before any conversion is performed.

Old Appliance Removal: As part of our Standard Delivery service, we will also remove the old appliance from your property at no additional cost to you. Simply ensure that the old appliance is emptied and pick-up ready outside of your home prior to the scheduled delivery. (one unit is included for free. Additional units removed will be charged at $25.00 each)

This delivery option is ideal for customers who prefer a hassle-free delivery experience with the added convenience of having the appliance delivered, installed (if required), and the old appliance removed.

Relocation of Old Appliance: For customers requesting the relocation of the old appliance to a different location on the property or a different property, an additional cost(s) will apply.

Relocate on Same Property
- $50.00 per each unit.
- Additional fees may apply per units if relocations include stairs or hard to reach locations.
Relocate to a Different Property
- $100.00 per each unit.
- Additional fees may apply per units if relocations include stairs or hard to reach locations.

This delivery option is designed for customers who prefer a basic delivery service without additional installation or removal services. If you require additional services such as installation or removal of the old appliance, please consider our Deluxe Delivery option.

Deluxe Delivery: Appliances purchased with Deluxe Delivery will be delivered free of all packaging materials inside and out, unless requested otherwise by the customer. The delivery team will deliver the appliance inside your home or to the area you specify on the property.

Order Tracking:

Once your order has been processed and dispatched for delivery, you will receive a confirmation email along with tracking information. You can use this information to track the status of your delivery.

Delivery Address:

Please ensure that the delivery address provided during checkout is accurate and up to date. We cannot be held responsible for any delays or issues resulting from incorrect addresses.

Order Changes or Cancellations:

If you need to make any changes to your order or cancel it, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, provided that the order has not already been dispatched for delivery.
